🏃♂️ Welcome Coach Avery Coe – Fort Dorchester’s New Head Boys’ Track & Field Coach! 🏅Fort Dorchester High School is thrilled to announce Coach Avery Coe as our new Head Boys’ Track & Field Coach! 🎉A former standout collegiate athlete at Charleston Southern University, Coach Coe made his mark in the triple jump, earning recognition as one of the program’s All-Decade Athletes. 💪 His love for the sport quickly turned into a passion for mentorship, leading him to join The Fort in 2016 as an assistant coach for both the boys’ and girls’ programs.Known for his technical expertise, motivational leadership, and ability to bring out the best in every athlete, Coach Coe has played a key role in the success of Patriot Track & Field. As he steps into his new role, he remains dedicated to helping our student-athletes soar higher, run faster, and achieve greatness — both on and off the track. 🔥We can’t wait to see the continued success of our program under his leadership. 2025 BOYS BASKETBALL TRYOUTSFort Dorchester High School Boys Basketball 2025/2026 Tryouts Fort Dorchester High School will hold basketball tryouts for the upcoming season. All interested student-athletes are encouraged to participate according to the schedule below. Tryout Schedule: Varsity: November 3–4 | 6:00–8:00 p.m. | Main Gym Junior Varsity (JV): November 3–4 | 6:30–8:30 p.m. | Mini Gym B-Team: • November 8 | 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. | Main Gym • November 9 | 5:00–7:00 p.m. | Mini Gym Eligibility Requirements:All students must have a current physical dated after April 1, 2025, and it must be APPROVED in Big Teams PlanetHS before tryouts.
